I want you to succeed and make lots of money.
You’ve worked hard, and deserve to be wealthy. I know it! I recommend creating as many sources of revenue as possible.
You, of course, is a very popular platform for videos, and there are “hacks” to growing your reach and wallet here. You don’t even need to spend one penny.
Here are a few ways to make money on YouTube. It take time and effort to see the money come in, but it will be worth it.
Know Your Audience
Most importantly, you need to make content that your audience finds value in. While that could be any type of video, videos with stories tend to yield the greatest results. That means telling authentic stories of people who are benefiting from your organization.
If your content doesn’t resonate with your audience, it will likely underperform in raising money. So be sure to research your target demographic and tailor your content to their interests and concerns.
Join YouTube’s Partner Program
YouTube offers the YouTube Partner Program (YPP) That allow you to monetize your channel through ads. To qualify, your channel needs 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours in the past year.
With YPP, you are given access to more features and support teams on YouTube. You are then able to get a piece of the revenue for the ads shown on your content. It’s a pretty good deal.
Leverage YouTube’s Nonprofit Program
YouTube has a Nonprofit Program, too. You don’t need any subscribers or watch hours to qualify.
The Nonprofit Programs lets you utilize external links, even donation cards. You also get special YouTube support. This gets more out of your calls-to-action.
Bring In Other People
It’s hard to grow your audience. I can relate to that, but there are tricks.
Don’t be afraid to tap into other people’s audiences. Let’s say you’re starting a basketball organization, and you know some coaches who are well-respected locally. Ask them to talk on camera about the importance of your organization, and you’ll immediately be tapping into their audience.
This applies for any organization and industry. I did a podcast to expand Team Trust’s reach and credibility. It was free promotion for our guests and us.
Follow The Numbers
Any video can have a massive impact if you let it.
You just have to keep following the data. You should study your videos’ analytics, and see how your audience is responding.
Do more of what people like, and less of what they don’t. It’s that simple.
If you reference outside links, you can trace how many people are clicking on the links, and what they’re doing after that.
I’m always here for you, as well. You can get in my calendar to create a video that gets seen and makes money.
