How Video Can Elevate Your Facebook Page

You can grow your organization’s social media presence. I promise.

It’s not hard, as long as you follow the data and stay consistent. I wanted to share a few tips on how we’ve grown our social media channels, especially Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.

Before creating any video content, it’s crucial to know your target audience. What are their preferences, pain points, and interests? Conducting market research and utilizing analytics tools on social media platforms can provide valuable insights..

Meet your audience wherever they’re at. If they’re the most active on Facebook, place the most emphasis there. If LinkedIn is your in, do that.

Different social media platforms have varying user demographics and engagement patterns. Tailoring your video content to each platform ensures that it resonates with your specific audience.

There’s a lot of fluff on social media. Sometimes people just don’t know how to find what they need. So you need to find ways to stand out from the crowd.

Ensure your content is visually appealing, informative, and aligns with your brand’s message.

Remember:

  • Tell stories
  • Stay consistent
  • Create content that adds value to your audience’s lives

Give people directions. If they enjoy your video, they should know how to take action. Maybe that’s volunteer, donate or buy, but whatever the action is, make it known.

Use clear and compelling CTAs within your videos. This could be a link to a landing page, a subscription prompt, or a request for comments and shares. Our call to action — to schedule a call with me — is below. 🙂

Regularly monitor the performance of your video content using social media analytics tools. Analyze metrics like engagement rate, conversion rate and click-through to understand what’s working and what needs improvement.

Do more of what is working, and less of what isn’t. Run A/B tests to pinpoint what exactly is working. I know this takes time, and it may not yield the immediate results you are looking for. But if you aren’t running tests, how do you expect to improve your results?

Respond to comments and messages on your social media channels. Engaging with your audience fosters a sense of community and builds trust.

Are you ready to elevate your social media presence through a strong video? Then let’s go!
