Little Effort, Max Results: How To Use One Video 10 Different Ways

A young white man sits on his wheelchair along the beach in Santa Monica, Cal.

Money is tight these days.

The government is clamping down on critical medical funding, and it’s forcing dermatology practices like yours to shut down. It’s terrifying, and it’s causing your patients — the people you love and care about — to feel scared about their future.

I have a disability, and I know many of my disabled friends are fearing for their lives right now.

Don’t let money problems affect you or your patients.

Find ways to get the most out of every single marketing dollar you spend. This will allow you to reduce marketing expenses, and allocate more money towards providing affordable care.

I wanted to lay out exactly how you can convert one video into 10 (yes, 10!) different videos. This is the video marketing trick video production companies won’t tell you about, but it’s the very trick you need to optimize results while saving you massive money and time.

Let’s dive right in.

In order to create multiple videos from one video, you need to first have a video that is of a higher quality. This could be a testimonial video you did in the past, or a recent promotional video.

It doesn’t matter what kind of video you choose, just make sure it looks good to begin with.

If you repurpose a lower-quality video, that will look bad, and it will pose a threat to your credibility and reputation.

Once you found your video, do each of the below. For this example, let’s say your video was designed for Instagram.

  1. Full-Length Instagram Video (1 Video): Post the video as is on your Instagram feed. Super easy, and it takes 10 seconds.
  2. Instagram Reel (1 Video): Trim your original video, and post it as a reel. You want to focus on the most-interesting or engaging parts, aspects of the video that are going to generate quick interest and attention.
  3. Instagram Story Clips (3 Videos): Here comes a little creativity. Cut your video into short, maybe three 15-second clips. Add a few graphics or interactive elements to freshen up the look.
  4. TikTok Video (1 Video): Another easy idea. Post the video on your TikTok. It should be formatted for TikTok (vertically), and you can add relevant hashtags.
  5. YouTube Shorts (1 Video): YouTube Shorts are huge and massively popular. Take your TikTok video and post it on YouTube, as well. Make sure it is on the shorter side.
  6. Facebook Video (1 Video): Again, another easy concept to pull off. Post your video on Facebook. You may have a different audience on Facebook than on your other platforms. You’ll want to edit the video — or at least the accompanying text — to reflect your audience.
  7. LinkedIn Video (1 Video): If your video is serious and has a professional tone, why not post it on LinkedIn?
  8. Blog Post with Embedded Video (1 Video): If you want to provide valuable educational content to your audience, then embed the video into a blog post. Make sure it’s related to the topic you are discussing, and this will also help with SEO.
  9. Email Marketing Video Snippet (1 Video): Now this is a fun one. Emails with video can improve click-through rates by 200 to 300 percent! That is HUGE! Please do add videos into your emails, and you will see extreme results.
  10. X Video (1 Video): Most people who seek dermatology treatment are on X. They are seeking out quick fixes to their skin problems, and you need to be there when they need you. Be sure to post your video on X.

Each of the above steps are pretty easy to pull off. You may already be doing some of them, and that’s great.

But you need to learn from your efforts. That’s how you get better and better.

If one platform is consistently underperforming, then maybe that platform isn’t the best for you or your audience.

Please do keep in mind the platform that is most profitable for your practice. Don’t be quick to give up on it, but do keep track of the results.
